THE ROLE
The Manager, Global Partnership Operations (Europe) will be an integral member of the Legends Global Partnerships Team, located at one of our major European hubs in either London or Madrid. The Manager will be responsible for working with active sponsorship property accounts and internal constituents – while maintaining a dedicated focus on one priority client and major La Liga club. This person will aid in business intelligence/category research initiatives and manage special projects across Legends Global Partnerships team. The Manager, Global Partnerships will report to the Head of Global Strategy, while directly supporting the leadership of the SVP of Europe.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Support the sales team, by providing research and analytics on potential prospects including but not limited to brand/executive briefs , financial overviews, target lead lists and property/project weekly tracking reports
Assist in the development of sales related documents, working in collaboration with various internal and external members of the team to stay ahead of industry trends (i.e. Keynote presentations, detailed proposals, fact sheets, etc.)
Work alongside Legends Data & Analytics and CSL Valuation teams to create division efficiencies, while leading the development of key data, analytics and insights sales platforms and reports for the division and specific clients
Manage strategic sales outreach campaigns and coordination with internal and third parties vendors and logistics companies
Direct planning and event hosting initiatives and guest lists for key clients
Manage deal sheets, financial and asset tracking as well as master project calendars
Network, create and foster relationships with agencies, vendors and sports and entertainment properties
Data entry and management in Salesforce CRM
Other duties and projects as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
To perform this job successfully, the candidate must be able to perform each essential duty above at the highest levels. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and experience
Minimum 3-5 years of experience with added benefit if directly involved with sports/entertainment
Strong research and business acumen, with strong attention to detail
Experience in working with data systems, specifically CRM systems, while being able to leverage data in an effective way
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a creative mindset
High level of organizational and time management skills, with an emphasis on driving tasks to completion and meeting deadlines with a sense of urgency
Experience with Macintosh software and Photoshop/InDesign is a plus
Self-motivated with entrepreneurial spirit and ability to work independently and in team settings
Familiarity with the sales process is a plus
Ability to work flexible hours as projects exist across multiple time zones
Willingness to travel as needed for various projects
