WHAT TO EXPECT
Working as part of the Health, Safety & Wellbeing team, the Service Strategy and delivery team play a critical role in developing and supporting content delivery. This individual will be an integral member of the wider leadership team with broad accountabilities across the Health, Safety & Wellbeing domains
As an experienced Delivery leader, you will be responsible for driving and supporting business excellence, Service Strategy and continuous improvements liaising with a wide variety of stakeholders. You will develop and implement project principles across all of H,S&W workstreams. You will support on the strategic direction of the future policy initiatives, innovate and collaborate on events, communications, and the broader transformational projects working closely with the wider team.
Due to the cross functional nature of this position, you'll work collaboratively with operational business areas and provide support, advice and leadership to professional customer groups. A role which will allow you to make a positive impact on the health, safety and wellbeing of our people and wider stakeholders including supply chain and community.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Build an approach to lead and refine the Wellbeing strategy workstreams and project management of H,S&W activities. Taking the strategy concept and building the requirements to bring it to life through engaging business stakeholders and effective planning
  • Creating and managing an integrated communication plan and event strategy that is impactful and consistent with the overarching messaging and working with the wider communications and events specialist teams across the business to deliver.
  • Driving Business Excellence for the area to institutionalise the continuous improvement cycle into the H,S&W area.
  • Creating a governance to support wellbeing programmes and projects to deliver on their critical timing path and supporting the overall People Chapter QBR process.
  • Contributing to the future strategy and transformational projects / policy initiatives and their relationship with the Health, Safety & Wellbeing Portfolio. Drawing out cross functional dependencies where necessary and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Ongoing optimisation of all H,S&W operations processes, systems, tools and guidelines
  • Effective stakeholder management ensuring projects add value and are aligned to stakeholder expectations, working closely with our Procurement, Finance, Digital partners as well working across business chapters and other related areas.
  • Deputising for next level up as and when required in senior meeting forums and governance
  • Resource and team management - responsible for supporting your team in delivering high performance levels and collaborating across the Chapter
  • Innovate and ideate around future trends to bring customer experience thinking to life
  • Utilise data and analytics to measure performance impact

WHAT YOU-LL NEED

  • Proven experience of stakeholder management at all levels
  • Excellent Project Management skills formal/informal
  • Able to negotiate and influence at a senior level within the organisation
  • Working knowledge of key People practices
  • Strong analytics and ability to simplify information concisely
  • Experienced in coordinating large teams and driving results through teamwork
  • Previous experience of working in strategic and transformational project management roles with a track record of delivery
  • Reporting and Presentation experience
  • People management experience including teams in multiple locations
  • Adaptive and open to changing requirements
  • An excellent level of IT competence is required in programmes such as Lucid and Microsoft Office
