Manager - Renewable Energies

THE FIRM

Our client is a European leader in the development and management of renewable energy projects. They have solidified their position as the primary renewable energy entity, gathering a team of top experts covering the entire spectrum of clean energy across global offices. They have embarked on executing a subsequent growth phase and are looking for a Manager to lead their Financial Modelling function in London.

THE ROLE

You’ll be utilising your first-class modelling and analysis skills to develop financial models.

· Independently develop and run complex financial modelling tasks for financings

· Performing cash flow calculations and debt sizing underpinning the targeted financing

· Assisting lenders with financial model during financing process as and when required

· Assisting model auditors with model audit process as and when required

· Maintain and update financial models pre and post financial close

· Supporting transaction execution and negotiations with the counterparties, ensuring transaction documentation and structuring are consistent with the business case

· Managing due diligence activities, including coordinating the work of external parties and internal technical/commercial teams

· Preparation of marketing / presentation materials

· Support internal processes for the transaction assessment and approval

· Collaborating with senior professionals on various business development, transaction and portfolio management activities

· Supporting the management of relationships within the industry, including investment banks, due diligence providers, independent valuers, consultants, peer IPPs and developers etc.

THE CANDIDATE

We’re looking for someone with a track record of working with others to deliver complex financial modelling transactions.

· A minimum of 6 years of professional experience, ideally in the Renewable Energies sector from and investment bank, financial investor, utility company or developer

· Strong written and analytical skills

· Ability to develop, run and take complete ownership of project finance based financial models independently

· Experience of demonstrating commercial capabilities to create relevant solutions for clients that are profitable for the bank

· Strong commercial mindset and understanding of value drivers and risks of energy generation assets
