KC Group are working in partnership with a growing Birmingham based Recruitment Agency who have a newly created opportunity for a Managing Director.
The business is part of a group who have a big focus on CSR and supporting the local communities. The role involves full budget and p&l responsibility with a remit to expand the team and drive continuous growth across a strong client base within manufacturing, education, housing, social care and business support sectors.
- Direct responsibility for achieving the company budgeted sales targets and cost budget.
- Collective responsibility with CEO and leadership for the overall P&L and achievement of budgeted sales and profit targets.
- To develop and present to market, with the support of the wider group, this agencies Recruitment proposition and build a thriving portfolio of clients.
- To deliver a profitable and efficient Recruitment business, produce and deliver robust, ambitious and achievable growth plans, achieve multiple KPIs and income and profitability targets.
- When income and profitability are at appropriate levels, recruit and onboard, engaged and ambitious Business Development Consultants and grow the business to deliver challenging profitability targets.
- You will direct, motivate, and inspire the company to achieve short, medium, and long-term goals.
- To work closely with colleagues in the group to deliver a ‘one team’ approach to developing business with new clients and leveraging business with organisations engaged with one or more part of the organisation.
- To produce regular and accurate management information using an array of internal systems and software.
Requirements
- Prior experience in an agency environment in a senior leadership position.
- Proven track record of successful billings as a Consultant.
- Track record in a senior management / director level role within a Recruitment Agency with a proven track record of leading successful and profitable teams.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to liaise with individuals at all level of an organisation with tact and diplomacy.
- Strong listening, persuading and influencing skills.
- Able to detect opportunities and articulate them to senior management.
