Managing Quantity Surveyor

We are working with a regional main contractor based in Greater Manchester who are looking for a Managing Quantity Surveyor to join their business.

The role is a new position within the business and would suit a Senior Quantity Surveyor looking to develop and grow a commercial team, taking ownership of the commercial element of an already established contractor - whilst growing the business.

The role will be to oversee their North West commercial projects from a commercial capacity working alongside the Managing Director You will ideally have previous experience of providing bills of quantities to projects in the Commercial build, Industrial, Refurbishment, Education, Residential and local authority sectors.
Role, duties, qualifications:
- Managing junior QS -providing career guidance/training (on the job).
- Overseeing multi million £ construction projects - commercially
- Reporting into the Commercial Director and senior leadership team
- Working with clients on development of the projects
- Cost Analysis, working on COINS, Final Accounts
- 2 stage tender experience an advantage
- Leadership training
- BSC in Quantity Surveying
- RICS accredited - advantage
- Driving licence
