Managing Quantity Surveyor

Our client, a leader in technical, FM, regeneration, and energy services, is looking for an experienced Managing Quantity Surveyor to join their team.

Role Overview: As a Managing Quantity Surveyor, you will oversee the financial and contractual aspects of diverse projects, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget. You will lead a team of Quantity Surveyors, driving best practices and ensuring the highest standards of commercial management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor a team of Quantity Surveyors.
• Manage cost control, procurement, and contract administration.
• Conduct financial reviews and prepare detailed reports.
• Ensure projects adhere to budget and timeline constraints.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, and stakeholders.
• Identify and mitigate project risks.

About You:

• Extensive experience as a Quantity Surveyor with a successful track record.
• Strong knowledge of construction contracts and commercial management.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Outstanding communication and negotiation skills.
• Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Professional membership with RICS or equivalent is preferred.
