Managing Security Architect

As Managing Security Architect, you will be responsible for embedding security best practices and secure by design principles into our wide ranging client engagements, reporting to the Security Architecture Lead within Cyber Security.

What you’ll be doing:

• You will work on a range of security activities, collaborating closely with teams and architects across the organisation to ensure security is embedded into their solutions, rather than bolted on.
• You will play a leading role in helping our clients understand their security challenges. Taking a risk based approach, and using industry standard Security Architecture frameworks, you will design security controls to address the current and future cyber security threat landscape, whilst being aligned to our clients’ overall business objectives.
• This is certainly an opportunity to lead at the front line of cyber security delivering value to our client base.

What you’ll bring:

• Successful track record within a Security Architecture function coupled with experience of leading large client engagements
• Strong knowledge of Security Architecture principles, such as SABSA, and published frameworks or guidelines from organisations such as from NIST and NCSC
• The ability to design and document effective security controls aligned to business objectives using a risk based approach
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills coupled with ability to assess complex situations, identify risks, and recommend effective solutions
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, at all levels from Executives to end users
• Knowledge and experience of Cloud Security would be beneficial.
