Form of workOur well-known client based in Biggleswade are looking for Manual Miller’s to join their exciting and growing team, on a Temp to Perm basis. They are seeking innovative and dependable candidates who can work confidently and independently.
The hours for this position are Monday to Thursday 07:00am-16:00pm, and Friday 07:00am-13:00pm.
The hourly rate for this role is £12-£15 per hour, depending on experience.
Responsibilities as a Manual Miller:
– Writing and interpreting instructions and procedures to assemble equipment and products accurately
– Controlling machines and processes
– Performing inspections of equipment, structures, materials, and products
– Analysing information and finding the best solutions to problems
– Always maintaining clear and honest communication
– Keeping working environment safe and tidy
– Learning and applying the latest relevant knowledge to work
Requirements as a Manual Miller:
– At least 3-4 years experience in a machine shop environment preferred
– Recognise apprenticeship or City & Guilds training preferred
– Strong analytic, communication, and computer skills
– Understanding of mathematics
– Understanding CAD Drawings, symbols, and tolerances
– Attention to detail and self-motivation
– Strong team playing skills
