Purpose of Role and Key Accountabilities
The Manual Milling Machinist is responsible for setting and operating Manual Milling Machines, producing aircraft parts.
* Setting and operating Bridge Port Manual Milling Machine
* Confident in use of measuring equipment like micrometres, verniers, bore mics, thread/plug gauges
* Working with a variety of material, mainly aircraft grade aluminum
* Working with engineering drawings, metric and imperial
* Identify and report drawing errors
* Close tolerance work
* Working to own initiative
* Manual Milling Experience Required
* CNC Machining experience advantageous
* Training will be provided
