A successful and well known company in the manufacturing industry is recruiting for a senior co-ordinator to join their team on temp to perm basis.
Hours: 08.30 - 17.00 - Opportunity to work from home after 3 months
Pay: GBP15.00 - GBP16.50 per hour - 40 hours a week
Trading co-ordinator responsibilities:
- Support the trading team with day to day activities and to drive continuous improvement both operationally and financially
- Organise transport and run outbound logistics plan
- Coordinate with inbound shipping team on availability of raw materials
- Liaise with customers on their delivery requirements
- Contract management and administration including drag.
- Ensure all goods and services are invoiced
- Assist in coordinating and monitoring the movement of materials to customers.
- Maintain accurate records (contract accuracy/balances etc)
- To assist and respond to customer queries and requests in a timely manner
Experience required:
- Proven experience in a similar logistics/contract management role.
- Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Proficient in using logistics software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Ability to make a decision
- Familiarity with transportation regulations and logistics best practices.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team and independently with minimal supervision.
