The role
My client is looking to recruit an experienced Manufacturing Administrator to cover an 18-month FTC within a division of their business. They are a market leader within their industry, and supply a blue chip client based globally from their locations in the South West.
The main function of the role is to support the sales administration for all products manufactured onsite, and will be a varied role with a variety of duties including:
- Producing quotations, raising purchase orders and production schedules
- Dealing with customer queries via email or telephone
- Ensuring that the ERP system is kept up to date with customer's schedule.
- Attending internal meetings as and when required
- Ensuring that all product drawings/specifications are correct and up to date.
Skills / Experience Required:
- Previous experience within a similar role within Manufacturing.
- Previous experience in using ERP systems.
- Computer literate in Microsoft packages including Word and Excel.
- A basic understanding of engineering methods and production control (desirable).
