SalaryWe are seeking an enthusiastic Manufacturing Engineer to join our well-established engineering company, we are the market leader within our industry looking for an experienced Manufacturing Engineer to join the team.
We are looking for a Manufacturing Engineer ideally with a Degree level education to work alongside our existing team, main responsibilities will be to provide support with Lean Manufacturing / NPI / Quality and health & Safety.
Main duties for the appointed Manufacturing engineer will be:
- Supporting assembly process documents and best assembly method to production.
- Design facility layout for smooth production.
- Participate in Kaizen & 5S workshop activity events carried within the assembly areas you are responsible.
- Provide full support to production to achieve target pass to sales dates.
- Analysing Bill of Materials along side the assembly sequence in production and request Engineering improvements to ensure best assembly methods.
- Take responsibility for the manufacturability of new products and ensure a smooth introduction of the new product into assembly areas.
- Liaise with Engineering to resolve build issues during the prototype and pre-production phases, request changes to drawings and for best assembly processes.
- Develop continuous improvement and closed loop problem solving.
To be the successful Manufacturing Engineer you will have the following skills & Experience:
- Experience Working in an Engineering Manufacturing Engineer
- Understanding of Hydraulics, Pneumatic and Electrics (Systems)
- Good understanding and ability to produce Assembly documents
- Experience using SAP
- Bill of Materials experience as well as the Implementation of Engineering design changes to production successfully
- Excellent communicator, written & verbal and the ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
