CNC Recruitment are working as a recruitment agency in partnership with a leading manufacturer. An exciting opportunity has become available for a Manufacturing Engineer at their facility in Somerset. The successful Manufacturing Engineer will be joining a company that provides high-quality cleaning equipment used in contract and healthcare environments. They are looking to recruit a brand-new Manufacturing Engineer to join the company on a permanent basis.
The role will suit an engineer with manufacturing experience. The company produces using a wide variety of processes, machines, and materials, including sheet metal.
Manufacturing Engineer’s role will involve: –
- Supporting the manufacture of products, improving, and developing current processing methods
- Liaising with suppliers: planning and ordering raw materials
- Liaising with customers: to support and develop products
- Ensuring quality is maintained throughout the procurement and manufacturing process.
Skills required for Manufacturing Engineer:
- Experience working for a manufacturing business (mechanical).
- Knowledge of MRP systems
- Computer literate with knowledge and use of Microsoft packages
- Excellent communication skills
- Process and customer focused.
- Ability to work collaboratively across wider business departments.
Other skills of interest:
- Knowledge of CNC equipment
- Handson experience
- Experience of SolidWorks
