What you will do in your working day
- Help to innovate, enhance, and develop Manufacturing Engineering dept.
- Assist with providing effective support to all new programs and emerging issues.
- You will have responsibility for supporting production areas and delivering project work packages, ensuring the technical quality of work adheres to product, safety, quality, delivery, cost and compliance requirements.
The training you will be getting
- Successful candidates will receive a Level 6 Degree in Manufacturing Engineering.
- 80% of apprentices time will be within the workplace at Collins Aerospace (HS Marston, Wolverhampton).
- You will have block release to University accompanied by weekly /bi weekly Teams meetings.
What to expect at the end of your apprenticeship
- Apprentices studying the programme will benefit from a close partnership with industry leaders as well as expert teaching staff who have held professional engineering positions.
- Graduates will be able to register as Incorporated Engineers with relevant Professional Engineering Institutes such as IMechE and IET.
