ARE YOU A MECHANICALLY BIASED MAINTENANCE ENGINEER, MECHANICAL ENGINEER OR MECHANICAL FITTER WITH EXPERIENCE WORKING WITHIN THE MANUFACTURING INDUSTRY OR HEAVY INDUSTRIAL/PROCESS ENVIRONMENT?

Mechanical Maintenance Engineer required for a niche manufacturer who are market leading within their industry. They are an employer who genuinely looks after their staff and invests in their people. The role would suit mechanical Maintenance Engineers, solely mechanical engineers or mechanical fitters from a strong manufacturing or heavy industrial background. Engineers who have experience working in heavier industries such as metal works, steel works/steel processing facilities, foundries or brickworks are encouraged to apply.  The successful mechanical Maintenance Engineer will ideally be apprentice trained, time served or equivalent.

Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you will be well supported within your role, working within a large multi skilled maintenance and engineering team. You will work across a large manufacturing environment where the role will be varied and you will work on a wide range of foundry, rolling mill and CNC capital equipment. Your role will be 100% mechanically focused and you will carry out a range of both reactive/breakdown maintenance and preventative maintenance following a PPM schedule.
