Salary: Up to £72,000 dependant on experience
What you’ll be doing:
- Ensure compliance with the Safety, Health and Environmental Policies and Procedures, assessing and mitigating risks and making recommendations for improvement for your local business area
- Develop and maintain effective working relationships with your team, peers, customers, suppliers, partners and stakeholders
- Deliver effective and regular communications to the team and provide senior Management with feedback on concerns that may affect productivity and overall engagement levels
- Deliver operational excellence by establishing appropriate local measures and targets in line with the Key Performance Indicators, communicating and regularly reviewing progress
- Ensure adherence and compliance to all governance requirements and Operational framework within your business area. Including the QMS and BMS
- Strong forecasting and financial management of projects & cost based requirements. Including IBP, CSR, EVM etc
- Management, support and co-ordination of audit requirements, including but not limited to AS9100, ISO9001, ISO14001 and ISO45001
- Strategic planning of resources and capability to support stakeholder requirements from multiple sectors/business streams
Your skills and experiences:
- Experience as a middle manager within an organisation of similar size and scope
- Manufacturing/defence experience
- Demonstrated strong financial management skills
- Engineering/Management qualification (Level 5) (Desirable)
- HNC/HND qualified (Desirable)
