Manufacturing Operative

£16.00 per hour

Temp role - ongoing

28 days annual leave, increasing to 34 after 12 weeks

Working across a 3 shift pattern, as below (you will work all 3 shifts):

• 24/5 (3 shifts patterns)
• 1 week on Earliesshifts: From Monday to Thursday 6am - 2pm & Friday 6am - 1pm. 40.25hrs (including 15mins. handovers)
• 1 week on Latesshifts: From Monday to Thursday 2pm - 10pm & Friday 1pm - 8pm. 40.25hrs (including 15mins. handovers)
• 1 week on Nights shifts: From Monday to Thursday 10pm - 6am.
  5hrs(Including 15mins. handovers plus extra hours for breaks)

We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client who is well known global manufacturer based in Maidenhead and we are looking for experienced Manufacturing / Production Operator.

JOB FUNCTION/PRINCIPAL DUTIES:

• Carrying out tasks to ensure that scheduled daily output demands are met.
• Maintain your work area to a high GMP(Good Manufacturing Practice) and Housekeeping level.
• Comply with Health & Safety guidance and report on any Health and Safety issues.
• Maintain departmental logbooks and departmental paperwork to a high GMP(Good Manufacturing Practice) standard.
• Take pride in work area and drive for improvements and maintain high standards in every aspect of the manufacturing operation.
• To ensure that GMP(Good Manufacturing Practice), Quality, Health & Safety are considered in all aspects of role
• The successful candidate will have previous experience working in a production environment and ideally will possess of the machine minding/operating.

Within this role you can progress to Level 2 & Level 3 (e.g. Level 2 at £16.65 & above). Your rate of pay will increase as you progress up the levels.
