Description
Assistant Systems Accountant Duties.
- Closing down ledgers for month end: Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable and General Ledger
- Balance sheet reconciliations and Payroll submissions to pay Consultants for Private work carried out
- Posting journals for month end adjustments including accruals
- Uploading Payroll and Stores Issue data to the Ledger
- Working with the Financial Controller to process weekly payment runs
- Generating same day payments via Bankline
- Resolving issues with eFinancials, eProcurement and Business Objects with assistance from OneAdvanced
- Creating and amending supplier and customer accounts
- Ad hoc duties
Profile
A successful Assistant Systems Accountant should have:
- A degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Proficiency in financial software and systems
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work well in a team and independently
