Assistant Systems Accountant, supporting busy head office finance team, Bedford, to £38,000 + Study Support

Abacus Consulting are delighted to be supporting a well-established organisation in Bedford in their search for an Assistant Systems Accountant. This is a newly created role, working in a finance team of approx. 15-20.

Working in a busy and fast paced finance environment as the Assistant Finance Accountant your duties will include:

• Provide support for multiple finance systems
• Ensure internal financial controls and processes are robust and fit for purpose
• Query resolution
• Right hand support to Systems Accountant with additional tasks

The ideal candidate will come from a financial accounting background and be systems oriented. You will have strong Excel and IT skills and be confident working as part of a team.
