Hays are working with an established company in Bedfordshire who have a great opportunity for an Assistant Accountant to join the team concentrating on the Finance Systems side of the business.
Your new role
This role is situated with a growing finance team. The main duties of the role are to assist in the maintaining the business finance system, implementing the development plan and assist in the design and implementation of internal controls. This is a great opportunity for career progression with study support will be offered.
What you'll need to succeed
The ideal candidate for the role will have experience in a financial system's role, have experience of control accounts and supporting non-financial internal employees within issues that arise. You will have excellent administrative skills including intermediate/advanced Excel to pivot table level. This role would suit someone who is either AAT qualified and looking to study further or part-qualified and has a keen interest in financial systems.
