SalaryWe are currently recruiting for an Accounts Assistant to join a company in Leighton Buzzard, this is a full time role and the working hours are Monday-Friday, 9:00am-5:30pm.
Please note, this role is FULLY office based.

The successful candidate will have a basic knowledge of accounts.
Main responsibilities of the role will include:
- Bank statements and exports.
- Daily postings of receipts and payments for both our Client and Office accounts.
- Posting of bills.
- Processing incoming cheques and daily banking.
- Processing of transfers between internal accounts.
- Processing BACS, CHAPS, and cheque requests.
- Deposit account receipts and withdrawals.
- Bank reconciliations.
- Processing of weekly employee expenses.
- Petty cash.
- Month end reconciliations and figures.
- Input and payment of supplier invoices.
- Supporting the Fee Earners with any additional duties, as and when required.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Excellent numeracy skills.
- Excellent accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to work well in a team and independently.
- Good communication skills.
- Good IT skills (working knowledge of Excel).
- Ability to work under pressure in a busy office.
- Excellent administration and organisational skills.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Knowledge of the Solicitors Account Rules and Law Society Guidelines would be an advantage.
