JOB – Manufacturing Product Owner

LOCATION – Bristol

TERM- Permanent

SALARY - £45,000 - £60,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
We are looking for a Product Owner or Manager on a permanent basis in the Bristol area with experience in the engineering / manufacturing industry. Your main duties will be taking charge of NPD projects and liaising with commercial, technical and manufacturing teams, as well as marketing, product development and other responsibilities.

The Product Owner / Manager will ideally have the following attributes:

• Qualified in Engineering ideally (NVQ / HNC / HND / Degree or similar) OR Qualified by experience

• Previous experience working in a similar Product owner or Product Manager role.
• Able to communicate a customer’s needs into technical specifications.
• Familiar with product development processes.
• Capable of leading marketing activities.
• Able to translate customer feedback to product development.

• Have excellent communication skills both verbal and written
• Have previous experience working in a similar manufacturing environment.
• Be self-motivated and have a positive attitude
• Good problem-solving skills

• Knowledge of regulated manufacturing (Aerospace, Automotive, Medical devices etc.) - beneficial

• Experience of managing a product from Cradle to Grave (Development through manufacturing and delivery) would be very beneficial

The Product Manager / Owner role will involve:

• Liaising with customers and clients to improve and develop physical products.
• Oversee marketing and product advertising.
• Feedback and communicate with Engineering and Manufacturing to further develop and optimise products.
