Manufacturing Project Engineer sought within specialist equipment manufacturer offering autonomous working environment and further career development opportunities.
The role will be suited to experienced manufacturing engineers from an electrical manufacturing background, It would be highly advantageous to have experience working with switch gears, PLC’s and Labview.
As the Project Manufacturing Engineer, you will be responsible for all the PME’s (Project Manufacturing Engineer’s) activities in delivering manufacturing solutions for products and platforms through the required channels, i.e. NPI, CIP, sustaining and business strategy.
The role will report to the Engineering Manager and will be responsible for conducting all project progress meetings with them. You will play the main lead role for all PMEs and conduct one to one reviews and address any training or support needs. You will be the primary source of communication between the manufacturing engineering department and all other areas of the business internally and external customer contact as project lead.

The role in brief:
* Manage and coordinate all PME’s
* Manage and request all required resource for all projects
* Implement, maintain and police all metrics for timely project completion with budgets, time scale and guidelines.
* Manage and coordinate all project progress meetings
* Work in support of and in conjunction with production
The Person required:
* Experienced Manufacturing Engineer from an electrical manufacturing environment
*Knowledge of PLC’S
*Experience in Lab View
* Project Lead experience
