iO Associates have partnered with a global manufacturing business based in Clevedon in the search for a Manufacturing Team Lead.As the Manufacturing Team Lead you will be responsible for the daily management and performance of the Manufacturing Team.You will be driving collaborative working between departments, whilst leading major change projects, being the key driving force in the implementation of lean initiatives.

Responsibilities
• Responsible for the daily management and performance of the Manufacturing Team.• Drive collaborative working between departments.• Lead major change projects and implement lean initiatives.• Have line management responsibilities and regularly influence internal stakeholders.• Ensure an efficient production process through evolving and introducing suitable manufacturing processes.• Deliver safe, high quality, repeatable, cost-effective solutions with agreed, calculated time outputs.
Requirements
• Experienced in leading teams of people.• Previous experience in setting and achieving manufacturing business plans, KPIs and outputs.• Broad knowledge in manufacturing techniques, process variables, and control.• Use skills matrix's to develop personal and team development plans.• Experienced in the use of lean methodologies and tools including 6S, std work, SIM, change management, TPM, kaizen, VSM, SIPOC, PFMEA.• Understanding of ERP systems.• Audit awareness.• Experienced in change management, project management, and leading improvement teams.• Good understanding of manufacturing engineering processes and techniques.
