A1 Personnel are currently recruiting for a Manufacturing Team Leader for a permanent contract on behalf of our client based in Basildon:
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Supervising Production: Overseeing the production areas, ensuring that tasks are completed on time and according to specifications.
- Team Management: Managing and motivating your team, assigning tasks, providing training, and resolving conflicts to ensure smooth operations.
- Quality Control: Maintaining quality standards by conducting regular inspections, implementing corrective actions, and ensuring compliance with quality protocols.
- Resource Management: Efficiently managing resources such as materials, equipment, and manpower to optimise productivity and minimise waste.
- Safety Compliance: Enforcing safety protocols and regulations to create a safe working environment for your team and prevent accidents or injuries.
- Process Improvement: Continuously seeking ways to improve production processes, reduce costs, and increase efficiency through innovation and optimization.
- Communication: Facilitating clear communication between different departments, conveying production goals, progress, and any issues to higher management.
- Problem-solving: Addressing any production issues or challenges that arise, troubleshooting problems, and implementing effective solutions to minimise disruptions.
- Performance Monitoring: Tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the team's performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Continuous Learning: Staying updated with industry trends, technological advancements, and best practices to enhance production processes and stay competitive.
Requirements:
- Previous working experience in the manufacturing.
- Ability to read and interpret drawings.
- Excellent team leading and communication skills.
- Excellent attention to details
- Problem solving skills.
- The ability to manage the entire production process from planning, monitoring and execution of products
Hours:
- Monday to Friday : 10pm-6am
- Overtime available
