Manufacturing Team Leader

Our clients, based near Petersfield have an exciting opportunity for a Manufacturing Team Leader to join their growing machine shop. Our clients are an automotive specialist and seeking a candidate who has some team leading experience, and has worked within a machine shop environment.
Role Summary
Day to day management of the CNC and toolroom manufacturing resource Workload scheduling, internal parts movements, inspection & quality control within an ISO9001 environment Support manufacture of components and assemblies using manual machining & bench fitting skills as required. Support inventory control of workshop activity Key Responsibilities
Working to agreed manufacturing priorities and production schedules. Support vehicle workshop with overhaul & modification of parts and assemblies Ensure quality standards of manufactured items are adhered to. Liaise with manufacturing director to identify priorities. Complete all necessary production control records & timesheets. Identify and assist with purchasing requirements, expedite purchase orders to maintain delivery schedules. Support manufacturing director to validate purchasing decisions ie; cost and lead time Maintain a clean and safe working environment, ensure Health and Safety regulations are met, and safe working practices are adhered to. Experience and Required Skills
Supervisory experience, with a flexible, responsive & collaborative approach Strong organisational and prioritisation skills MS Office suite experience; Outlook, Excel, Word Expertise in toolroom techniques High degree of accuracy, attention to detail and visual quality Ability to take initiative and ownership of issues, with a proactive can-do attitude.
