Manufacturing Technical Estimator

Would you like to be part of a team that is enabling technology for a better world? We are currently looking for a Technical Estimator to join our Manufacturing team.
What you ll do:
As the Technical Estimator you will be the technical lead and expert for your product line of Custom Vacuum Fabrications/Chambers throughout Europe.
Key job elements:
- To be fully competent within the Custom Manufacturing Division, proposing the correct technical solutions for both internal/external customers, identifying key product opportunities and solutions.
- Drive the European special fabrications business forward by supporting the European sales team on customer calls and visits.
- Respond promptly to customer enquiries and requests; this will include
- Creating quotations
- Obtaining costs from different suppliers
- Processing sales orders
- Providing a technical resource
- Actively project manage key orders, owning the communication from start to finish
- Liaise with sales management regarding competitors, conducting market research and present sales statistics.

- Have a good understanding of technical drawings
- Have knowledge of the vacuum technology industry (preferred not required)
- Strong analytical skills
- Have a good understanding of manufacturing processes
- Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams
- A strong communicator who can build rapport quickly
