The successful candidate will handle their own busy portfolio of claims from mixed Marine lines of business, such as Cargo, Hull and Marine Liability.

This is a 12 Month fixed term contract position, and an exciting opportunity that will place the candidate in a leading position within the Lloyd’s Market.

Key Responsibilities

• Handling a portfolio of claims comprising of Cargo, Hull and Marine Liability, and/or Power and Renewable Energy, depending on the experience of the successful candidate.
• Participating in claims lifecycle reviews and driving down static claim volumes and values.
• Working with the company's brokers to deliver good outcomes, both for the company and for clients.
• Working with underwriters and claims colleagues to add value and build the company's presence internally.
• Contributing to internal improvement workstreams to help drive the division forward, and become the best claims team in the London Market.

Key Requirements

• At least 3 years' experience of handling Marine or Energy Claims.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Working knowledge of ECF.
• Good mathematical and report writing skills, with the ability to analyse complex issues.
