SalaryWorking as a Marine Superintendent can go one of two ways, managing your vessels from afar or being a lot more hands on with regular visits to meet the vessels, crew and other stakeholders.
This one is the latter.
If you don't like being tied to the desk in the office and want to get out and do your job in an active manner this could be for you.
If you are experienced as a Chief Officer or Master onboard AHTS, PSV or DSV and ideally have some experience on the shore side as a Marine Superintendent, because, lets be honest, this is a pretty full on job and you need to understand how work with several vessels, several crews with different working habits its not going to be easy to do so without some experience.
Based out of the Glasgow office with 2 days working from home you will also be expected to travel frequently to West Africa, any experience in WA will benefit you greatly but it isn't essential. What is essential is that you have the current right to work in the UK as their will be no sponsorship on offer.
