Our client based in Frome is looking for a Marketing Account Manager to join their growing team. Our client specialises in delivering marketing campaigns to Technology companies throughout the UK.
As a Marketing Account Manager you will be managing client campaigns, ensuring they’re on brief, on time, and on budget, as well as ensuring excellent customer service.
Responsibilities of the Marketing Account Manager role are:
- Understand company marketing processes and systems and how to progress projects as efficiently as possible
- Attention to detail across all work – client facing and internal
- Ability to set and meet realistic expectations and to question client deadlines when required
- Communication
- Understand and interrogate the brief to fully understand the requirements
- Communicate brief clearly with the client and with internal teams
- Always keep client updated on project status whether on time or delayed
- Ensure invoicing is managed effectively from company and client perspective
- Ensure quotes are clear to the client and that any “scope creep” and additional costs are flagged as soon as possible
- Be fully accountable for the financial process working with the SAM; ensuring that there are no surprises at the end of each financial period
- Work with the SAM to produce forecasts for the team and own the forecast for nominated accounts
- Drive profitability of jobs
- Own the reconciliation for your projects
- Keep in regular contact with all client contacts via phone and teams
- Take ownership of projects from start to finish – including initial proposal and sharing results where possible
- Understand how to optimise design for each activity
- Identify opportunities for additional services that we could provide to the client and work with the SAM or appropriate team member to close and deliver them
- Keep on top of client developments (new products, people, competitors, market etc.)
- Own, prepare and deliver presentations for existing projects and new opportunities within clients – both briefed and pro-active
- Work to identify ways that we can improve our processes, service and deliverables
- Work within the team to provide support and help to others when needed; both within account teams and across the company as required
Measurement
Individual success in terms of the role will take into consideration the following:
- Client satisfaction – measured by informal feedback from the client and NPS score
- Regular review through 1:1 process
- Individual KPIs will be set to drive account objectives
Our client is offering a basic salary of £25 000 to £33 000 dependant on experience. Working hours for this role are Monday to Friday. This is a hybrid role and candidates must be able to be office based every Wednesday.
To be considered for the Marketing Account Manager role you will have at least 3 years’ experience in a Marketing role, preferably from the Technology sector although this is not essential. You must have experience managing Marketing Campaigns including working to budgets.
