SalaryPertemps are currently recruiting for a Marketing Data Assistant on a full time, permanent basis to join our clients’ team based in Telford, Shropshire.
Your role will be to support the Marketing Manager in a wide range of marketing activities at a junior level, carrying out various departmental tasks, including general administration, data management, social media content creation, collation and distribution of sales and marketing information via customer portals and digital channels.
Duties Include but not limited to:
- Assisting with administrative marketing tasks.
- Assist in the development and implementation of product data to be used across multiple channels, including company website, customer portal, internal comms.
- Maintain and update the company website using a Content Management System, including new product data input, and cleansing.
- Compile and approve Assembly Instructions for all new products, including liaison with Far East office.
- Approval of all packaging/shipping marks.
- Create and schedule engaging content for social media platforms, monitor social channels and respond to comments and messages promptly.
- Support the sales team with the coordination and distribution of marketing materials and activities.
- Support the organisation with all events and trade shows.
Ideal Candidate:
- Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail, with the ability to multitask and to work to deadlines confidently.
- Well organised and self-motivated.
- Team player with good interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively.
- Experience in Marketing, Communications, or a related field is preferred.
- Good understanding of design principles and concepts.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills are a must.
- Proficiency in content management systems, graphic design software including Adobe Creative Suite (photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and Canva are desirable.
Hours: Mon-Fri 9:00am – 17:00pm | 1 hour lunch break.
Salary: £23,000 per annum.
