About Our Client
The firms Business Development centres on the following core sectors: charities, education, energy, food and agribusiness, government, health, insurance, private wealth, real estate investment, technology, life sciences, sports and the mid-market. Within this, these sectors are underpinned by national service lines (NSLs): corporate & commercial, employment, family, insurance disputes, private client, projects & construction, real estate and regulatory, public & commercial disputes.
As a Marketing and Business Development Executive you will be working with the NSL advisors to support the delivery of firm wide campaigns and projects into the Leeds market.
Job Description
The key responsibilities of the Marketing and Business Development Executive include:
- Working with the BD team to develop business plans which identify opportunities to generate growth in line with the firms 2025 strategic plan
- Collaborate with the wider BD team to promote the office and monitor results
- Driving process for building pipeline of new business opportunities
- Supporting sales pipeline activities
- Undertaking market and sector research
- Leveraging data and insights to identify, plan and implement key BD campaigns and projects
- Supporting the planning and execution of major campaigns and initiatives
- Supporting client partners to implement key growth account client plans
- Attend sector association events and conferences
- Maintain regional market, sector and service line knowledge including market trends
- Undertaking regular briefings on client developments
- Be the `go to' person for specific expertise
- Play an active role in sharing intel, knowledge and experience to help develop skills and broaden commercial awareness
The Successful Applicant
The successful candidate will:
- Have a minimum of 2 years experience
- Be confident in communicating with internal and external clients
- Be proactive in their work
- Ideally from a professional services background due to regularities, but this is not essential
