Description
Main duties include:
- To work with the Director of Practice and Innovation to support the delivery of strategic objectives,
- To protect and support development of the organisation's brand and key messages,
- To protect, develop and uphold our reputation in the public domain including advising on any negative situations that may arise,
- To manage and monitor external communications across a range of media including our website, social media and publications,
- To coordinate the redevelopment of website, working with a range of stakeholders and engaging external expertise,
- To support recruitment campaigns and to play a key part in cross functional work around recruitment messaging, strategy and progress,
- To work collaboratively to oversee the execution of internal communications, monitor their reception and contribute to discussions on priorities and approach, which will change from time to time,
- To collaborate with our services and supported people to ensure autistic involvement and representation across all media and publications,
- To provide support with communications related to income generation,
- To oversee media and Communications in support of public policy campaigns,
- To evaluate the impact of our Marketing and Communications activities,
- To collect and use data to monitor Marketing and Communications activities to enable evaluation and effectiveness,
- To lead and coach the small Marketing and Communications team, and to oversee the budget,
- To coordinate and deliver marketing assets and materials using both internal and external expertise and output.
- To coordinate externally sourced market research on our organisational brand to inform organisational development
Profile
The successful candidate will have:
- Degree qualified and/or able to demonstrate significant industry experience.
- Experience of developing and overseeing a portfolio of marketing or communications activity
- Experience of developing and delivering internal and external communication strategies (desirable)
- Experience of recruitment marketing (desirable)
- Experience of media relations and reputation management
- Communication and meeting skills
- Customer Service/Relationship Management Skills
- Ability to manage multiple and at times complex workstreams
- Numeracy and ability to review financial information and data on marketing evaluation
- Ability to coach and mentor staff
- Evaluation of effectiveness of marketing methods and continuous improvement
- Driver's license
