The Biochemical Society is seeking a Marketing and Communications Officer to support the work of the Marketing and Communications team across the organization and help to deliver balanced promotion of the Society and PPL’s resources and initiatives.
In this role, the postholder will work closely with colleagues across all departments, including events, grants, publishing, education, and community engagement to plan and oversee all elements of your campaigns and marketing activity, ensuring cohesive branding and messaging.
The postholder should demonstrate good copywriting and proofreading skills, have an excellent eye for detail, and possess a good understanding of branding and design. Experience working in a member, charity, event, or science-based organization is also advantageous.
Suitable candidates will have a background in Marketing and experience using specialist marketing tools and platforms to support outreach and engagement objectives, and excellent organization and communication skills.
Although advertised as remote, there are options available for working within an office in London up to a few days per week, should that be preferred.
