Weekly Hours Worked: 8.30 am to 5.00 pm Monday to Friday

Salary: £24,960 per annum

Brief job description:

Estio Training have an exciting new opportunity for a Digital Marketer with WCF, based in Peterborough.

Job Description:

  • Building and maintaining a strong brand identity through content marketing for both online and offline channels.
  • Conduct competitor analysis to target relevant audiences and gain market share.
  • Build marketing plans with KPI’s budget management with ROI calculations.
  • Write persuasive copy for various platforms for search engine optimization using best practice techniques. Ensure content is managed and maintained for optimal user experience.
  • Ensure marketing communications are compliant in terms of regulatory requirements ensuring data security.
  • Utilize AI tools to improve marketing efficiency and personalization whist ensuring the information is accurate and speaks with brand voice.
  • End to end campaign planning and management utilizing data to monitor amend and optimize future campaigns.
  • Working with the Head office graphics design team to create offline creative that is trackable and drives customers and prospect to telephone or web channels.
  • Manage relationships with internal stakeholders and external suppliers. Occasional travel to the head office may be required for meetings.

Your duties and responsibilities in this role will consist of:

  • To maintain the health of the website including new product updates, price changes, bug fixes and redirects.
  • Establish, drive, and deliver the seasonal marketing plan in line with agreed budgeted sales by channel.
  • You will ensure that the website is optimized for search engines through relevant keyword rich content and meta tags.
  • You will write articles, help guides, emails, and social media posts that support the brand in becoming the authority for the goods we sell in the amenity marketplace.
  • You will be responsible for tracking the source of orders and measuring the return on marketing investment to understand the lifetime value of the customer and what repeat customers buy. This will require you to set up source codes online and via the Horizon telephone system.
  • Monitor competitor activity and look to outperform the competition for the services we provide through assessing where they link to that we do not.
  • Working alongside the head office team you will the first point of contact for sprint and developments making sure they are planned and delivered to an acceptable timeframe.
  • Develop and execute email marketing strategies, including implementing and managing automated email workflows via Khaos and Cmailer, tailored to individual customers’ past buying behaviours to effectively target and engage customers throughout their journey.
  • Analyse third-party and agency reports to extract valuable insights, and provide comprehensive recommendations for improvement to the Head of Marketing, and GM.
  • Write and publish self-help articles to empower customers to resolve common inquiries independently via online chat.
  • Responsible for GDPR and PECR regulation compliance for Pro Green and A1 Lawn.
  • Daily check of orders in Magento and Cshop that are held for payment review, paid pre-order
  • Add and maintain product content, tracking, prices, multi buys, media codes, discounts and url health.
  • Using WordPress and IOCEA CMS to add and refresh blog content to the website creating category and lading pages where required that are optimized for SEO.
  • Create and schedule social media posts in line with content plan for both A1 Lawn and Pro Green using suitable graphics and creative wording for maximum engagement.
  • Responding to Social Media engagement and Reviews.
  • Write a schedule of email marketing activity in line with the seasonal plan appropriate to the products we sell. Create graphics, select data and send using PECR compliant mail provider ensuring our data is complaint at all times.
  • Analysing, updating and distribution of KPI spreadsheet to review performance of online activity in line with budget expectations. Look to repeat those activities that have performed well and improve those that have not in future marketing.
  • Working alongside head office be the first line contact for Laser Red.
  • Agree priority tasks with the greatest business worth for future development. Schedule, monitor and progress delivery. Test on staging site before going live communicating to the wider business status.
  • Regular agree discuss the paid for digital advertising priorities with Echo Web for Facebook, Google and Bing advertising to ensure maximum return on advertising spend and lifetime value of the customer.
  • Consider complimentary product, people who bought this also bought this in order to increase customer basket and repeat purchase.
  • Ensure that any new campaigns are checked for accuracy, tracking and that content on the web is producing the best quality score to produce the lowest cost per click.
  • Consider alternative shopping feeds suitable to 3rd party marketplaces.
  • Update existing and add new products and prices to Amazon and other third-party marketplaces including updating written content.
  • Maintain existing product pricing including the turning off prime on Friday at 2pm.
  • Suggest improvements and campaigns that would support the strategic plan having analyzed customer behaviours or identified developments that will improve sales conversion.

Qualifications:

5 GCSEs grades A*-C/9-4 or equivalent (including English Language and Maths)

Skills Required/ Personal Qualities:

  • Knowledge of Shopify, WordPress, Magento or similar and Google Analytics beneficial.
  • Successful candidate will preferably have BASIS qualification relevant to industry.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office required.
  • Good copy writing skills.
  • Good numerical and analytical skills.
  • Experience within a similar job role beneficial.
  • Strong team working ability.
  • Proven history of creating innovative social media marketing campaigns.
  • Ability to effectively manage and build relationships with outside consultants and service providers.

  • Conduct comprehensive reviews and analyses of multi-channel marketing activities, measuring success and providing actionable recommendations for enhancement.
  • Create and interpret insightful analytical dashboards utilising advanced digital tools, facilitating data-driven decision-making.
  • Strategically plan, execute, and manage comprehensive marketing campaigns across an array of digital and traditional media platforms.
