About the role:
The ercol Marketing Apprentice supports the Marketing team in all general marketing activities and has some key communication and marketing duties
Main Responsibilities:
- Execute the distribution of all forms of communications, including advertising, promotional assets and weekly retailer communication to deadline to deliver the Marketing Plan, ensuring output is high quality, accurate and effective.
- Liaise, manage and track furniture loans and orders for PR, editorial, photo shoots, videos, and retailers, analyse coverage that they deliver.
- Work with the Marketing Manager to prepare and collate monthly and quarterly reports.
- Prepare and distribute marketing communications and literature to retail customers, Area Sales Managers and ercol Outlet.
- Communicate the weekly manufacturing information to our retailer customers.
- Manage imagery files. Downloading, naming and filing as needed to keep them up to date.
- Oversee retailer fabric and wood samples and distribution.
- Support the Area Sales Managers in monitoring a network of industry dealers, ensuring the correct use of ercol marketing assets.
- Assist the Marketing Manager in maintaining up to date retailer Point of Sale and product Spec sheets.
- Provide support for the Sales & Marketing team with various ad-hoc requests, projects and assisting the hosting of customer events.
- Research and analyse market trends and competitors, obtaining hard copies when required.
- Tracking effectiveness of marketing campaigns, obtain evidence as required and reporting findings to the Marketing Manager.
- Any other reasonable duties.
Entry Requirements:
- You’ll need to attend an online interview with our Talent Team and pass initial assessments in maths and English once you have completed your registration.
- You will need to be within a commutable distance to the office location listed.
Skills:
- Excellent communication skills written, visual and verbal, with the ability to communicate to all levels.
- Well organised, proactive, detail conscious, able to multitask.
- Knowledge of excel, word, PowerPoint required, Photoshop would be useful.
- Customer focused.
- Positive can-do attitude and willingness to get stuck in and learn.
- A flexible team player able to support and integrate within a small, hardworking and friendly team.
