SalaryMy client is a leading specialist Mortgage provider looking for a creative and passionate Marketing Assistant to join the team.
An exciting opportunity for a candidate with a Marketing qualification or a 1 or 2 experience looking to develop their skills and career further within a friendly and driven team.
* Office based role - West Malling
* £25,000
* Must Drive - Due to the location of the office unless you live very locally, free parking is provided.
* Monday to Friday 8.30-5.30 office based for the first 2-3 months. After probation, 1 day a week WFH.
Reporting into the Marketing Manager you will support the Marketing team with building brand awareness, increase business enquiries and implement and assist with marketing activities to reach departmental targets and key performance indicators.
Duties will include
* Assisting in executing the marketing strategy.
* Support with event preparations (printing of all literature and organising couriers).
* Organise all external gifting from initial ideas through to delivery.
* Responsible for marketing literature library and maintenance of literature.
* Research, sourcing and ordering branded merchandise.
* Create and maintain branded stocktake
* Provide ad hoc marketing support for Internal Sales teams.
* Create document artwork (leaflets, business cards, website documents).
* Update and maintain website content.
* Market and competitor research
* Responsible for raising purchase orders, invoice management and the tracking process.
Ideally you will
* A degree in marketing or business-related study/ Experience within a Marketing Assistant role
* Good IT skills across marketing related packages particularly Adobe Suites.
* Creative, fresh thinking
* Proficient with Microsoft (outlook, excel, word)
* Good copywriting skills and being able to adapt to the company's 'tone of voice'
* The ability to work well under pressure, independently and as part of a team.
