Marketing Assistant and Webmaster
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Marketing Assistant and Webmaster to join our team. The successful candidate will support the marketing department in executing various marketing initiatives and campaigns, in addition to supporting all webmaster tasks. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about marketing and wants to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced dynamic environment.
Webmaster responsibilities include maintaining website content and performance in the local market, duties include:
- Working closely with web professionals to design and update websites
- Fixing website errors and creating a response plan for down time
- Running tests to make sure designs or website updates function properly
- Communicate with functional teams to align on the plan on the website content
- Publish the content on the website in CMS (Sitecore, Censhare web) according to the confirmed plan
- Ensure content is of a high quality and that it's correct and updated
- Ensure that content looks great both on desktop and mobile
- Remove outdated content
- Localize the content from region to local markets
- Compiling and distributing information such as website and social media analytics, analysing any questionnaires
- Writing marketing and website text
Marketing Assistant responsibilities include assisting in organizing campaigns and developing marketing strategies, duties include:
- Catalogue proofing / splashes (liaising with Planners and our Forecaster if needed for offer clarification, yearly code creation for printed catalogues)
- Proof-reading of Global Marketing material
- Systems/ products/ offers - setting up local initiatives, maintaining Cumulus back office for all merchandising, set-up and testing of offers, making sure catalogues are on Cumulus for the correct periods and troubleshooting if there are problems with any of these; liaising with IBM Sales Actions team for special local offers, making sure these are set up on cumulus and testing of these before launch
- Managing and monitoring server performance
- Configuring web servers
- Compiling and distributing information such as website and social media analytics
- Monitoring social media accounts, creating content and responding to messages
- Analysing questionnaires
Skills and Qualifications
- Previous experience in a similar
- Experience of Direct Selling an advantage
- Comfortable with multi-tasking in a fast paced deadline-driven environment
- Understanding of the basic business and marketing concepts
- Outgoing personality with strong interpersonal and social abilities
- Analytical, attentive to details,
- Fluency in English,
- Proven experience as a content editor in any CMS
- Copywriting skills
- Working knowledge of website management tools
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
