Our market leading client working within HR Services is keen to expand their Commercial Team with the addition of a Business Development Executive. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly driven, motivated and ambitious candidate to join a business that will offer career progression and continuous development opportunities.
The role has been designed to generate additional demand for the clients services with the ultimate aim of the role being to create opportunities for the Commercial Team to grow their already enviable client list and achieve their long-term growth targets for the business. This is hybrid role with a requirement to be in the office on Mondays and Thursdays,
Key Responsibilities
Prospecting new business opportunities through direct marketing predominantly using our existing database of HR decisions makers.
Conducting research to identify the key HR stakeholders within large organisations to support ongoing sales and marketing activities.
Build a strong network of HR decision makers on LinkedIn and promote awareness of our services by contributing to relevant LinkedIn Groups.
Track market activity such as mergers, acquisitions, and profit warnings which may result in the need for our services and follow up accordingly.
Explore new routes to target HR decision makers e.g., new lead generation software, automated sales messaging or arranging events.
Creating and sending direct email campaigns via Connect, interpreting and analysing results to be shared with the Commercial Team
Support the Marketing Manager with internal content production and scheduling across social media and other channels.
Essential Skills and Attributes
· Proven ability to create opportunities in a B2B environment.
· Experience of providing support to a B2B sales and marketing team.
· Good knowledge of social media channels, particularly LinkedIn
· Strong IT literacy and highly competent using MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
· Excellent planning and organisation skills.
· Strong administration experience within a professional environment.
· Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
