Your New Role…

The Marketing & Communications Graduate Interns will support various Warner Bros. Discovery’s teams with their marketing campaigns across all new and existing content.

There are a variety of Graduate roles within the Marketing & Communications division, therefore the below job description is not exhaustive of all activities you may undertake during your internship.

Your Role Accountabilities…

  • Working closely with the marketing and publicity teams, supporting the development of creative marketing campaigns across a variety of our content and brands across Europe, Middle East and Africa regions.
  • Managing and updating a selection of schedules and reports, including tracking key marketing metrics to aid decision making.
  • Support on the planning, implementation and evaluation of UK exhibitor activity ranging from point of sale, promotions, digital media, and events.
  • Assist the brand partnership department in the co-ordination, development, and implementation of multi-market deals across EMEA.
  • Assist with the production and delivery of creative assets and in-store display materials for key retail and media activity.
  • Help to develop the UK & Ireland internal communications tools (newsletters, emails) and manage relevant platforms (Workplace) with information flow, content and engagement opportunities ensuring staff are kept up-to-date with relevant news and information.
  • Support the planning and delivery of leadership briefings, Town Halls, staff engagement opportunities and external speaker sessions, coordinating all relevant departments (tech/AV/facilities/creative) to ensure smooth implementation.
  • Daily news and trend monitoring, development of comms planning tools ranging from announcement schedules, speaker and event opportunities, milestones and campaign trackers.
  • Inform the press office of live issues in the industry along with key opportunities for WBD UK & Ireland through research and news monitoring.

Qualifications & Experience…

  • You must be a recent university graduate, having graduated no earlier than July 2022.
  • Passionate about marketing and the film & entertainment industry.
  • Well-organised and show excellent attention to detail, with the ability to prioritise workload and use time effectively.
  • Excellent communication and relationship building skills.
  • A positive attitude, a creative open mind and calm demeanour.

The Internship...

  • Salary: £27,000
  • Contract Length: 12 months
  • Start Date: Likely to be 9th September 2024
  • You will gain hands-on experience working on business-critical projects.
  • You will have access to personal and professional development courses, executive speakers’ series, special screenings and more.
  • You will be part of our Early Talent network of over 100 interns & apprentices, meaning you will have an important support network of other students, graduates and apprentices and plenty of opportunities to socialise!

Next Steps…

  • Stage 1: Submit your CV by Sunday 17th March (you will not be able to apply after this date).
  • Stage 2: For eligible candidates, you will be invited to complete a written questionnaire in HireVue. The deadline for this is Sunday 24th March.
  • Stage 3: Pre-recorded video interviews via HireVue will be sent out, to be completed in April.
  • Stage 4: Assessment Centres & Interviews will take place May-June.
