Salary: £32,974 per annum plus benefits including a final salary pension scheme, generous annual leave, and flexible and hybrid working.

  • maintaining and updating Arts Council England's internal and external communications channels with information relating to local activities, and delivering Area announcements, including writing and distributing press releases, creating digital content and stakeholder messages, to advocate for the value of arts and culture to key stakeholders
  • assisting with the management, evaluation and assessment of the impact and delivery of online content; media and PR; stakeholder management; and events and briefings, helping to instigate appropriate change in response to that evaluation.
  • providing day-to-day communications support to the leadership team and other colleagues.
  • acting as the first point of contact for media enquiries and as a source of knowledge and expertise on Arts Council England's funding portfolio and activity
