SPILL Festival is seeking a friendly, proactive, and meticulous part-time Marketing & Communications Officer to deliver our strategic marketing campaigns and organisational communications across the breadth of SPILL’s activities, including artist development initiatives, year-round activities in our intimate Think Tank venue in Ipswich, and the multi-venue, multi-disciplinary SPILL Festival.
As part of a small, close-knit team, the selected candidate will make a significant contribution to SPILL, working closely with company leadership, key consultants (including PR and Audiences) and SPILL’s project producers to grow and develop SPILL’s audiences, attract new participants, support fundraising and maximise sales. They will have an in-depth understanding of SPILL’s audience development strategies, box office software, brand guidelines and social impact objectives and will apply these to their day-to-day tasks with care and rigour.
This is the perfect role for someone with a few years’ experience in marketing at an arts organisation, charity, SME or similar, and is ready for a new challenge or is returning to the workplace after some time away. The predominantly part-time hours can be flexible around caring responsibilities or other commitments. Please note that role is based in the SPILL office in the centre of Ipswich (some home-working permitted when activities allow).
