Marketing & Communications Officer
Isle of Wight Youth Trust is an independent local charity, working in our local community for 40 years, delivering confidential, professional counselling, therapeutic and wellbeing services for children and young people. Our work increasingly extends to preventative work, education, and training on mental health, as well as advocacy work in seeking to influence improvements to mental health services on the Island. We are seeking a Marketing & Communications Officer.to:
- Raise awareness of, and access into, IW Youth Trust
- Highlight Youth Voice
- Support income generation activity through communications.
- Support internal staff and volunteer communications to build knowledge, awareness, and a sense of team.
The successful applicant will have:
- Proven experience within a social media marketing role for an organisation. Marketing skills to include use of Content Management Systems (CMS), Canva and proven skills in creating engaging content for social media platforms/websites etc
- The ability to design and produce a wide range of marketing materials including brochures, presentations, and graphics in line with brand message and brand guidelines.
- Creative mindset with an eye for design.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
Contract type: 1-year Fixed Term Contract (with hope this will extend if funding permits).
