Job title: Marketing & Events Manager
Contract length: 6 months
Pay rate: 24.28 per hour (Circa 44,000 per annum based on a 37.5 hour week)
Location: Fenchurch Street, London
My client is in the market for a Marketing & Events Manager to join their team immediately on some upcoming events that they require support on.
Role Responsibilities:
Support involvement in multiple events for aligned entities, including numerous aspects of event execution. Support multiple complex (large-scale, executive-level) events simultaneously.
Coordinate multiple aspects of event program including:
- Event planning
- Event execution (managing event assets, event app build/support, registration site build, logistics management including venue selection, catering, invitation process, on-the-ground planning, policy overview, etc.)
- Conference sponsorships and speaking engagements
- Liaise with multiple stakeholders both inside Accenture and with outside organisations/vendors
- Budget management
- Post-event close/wrap (including event analytics, documentation, surveys, etc.)
Skills required to be successful in the role:
- Event management and execution, Project management, Analytics a plus
- Experience in B to B event management or related experience with proven success managing large scale hosted events, tradeshows and conferences
Other requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications or related field
- Solid professional presence and ability to interact with multiple points of contact across functional groups at various career level, including executives
- Proactive, self-starter who is motivated and driven to make a difference within the team
