Al-Khair Foundation is a UK registered charity working to deliver humanitarian and development projects worldwide. Founded in 2003, Al-Khair provides emergency aid, medical care, education, and livelihood support to vulnerable communities in the UK, Africa, Asia, and the Middle East, and is committed to supporting these groups to become sustainable active citizens in their society. Al-Khair Foundation is a key development partner of choice for Governments, NGOs, donors, and civil society in their respective countries. It celebrated its 20-year anniversary in 2023 so expect a very exciting future.
We are looking for a Marketing Executive to develop, create, drive, monitor, support, advise and guide on all Marketing areas of the business, including but not limited to:
- Plan and develop fundraising campaigns both online and offline.
- Develop content for our social media and web platforms, encompassing blog posts, articles, multimedia content, and posts.
- Plan, execute, and optimise paid social media advertising campaigns to target specific audiences.
- Maintain a content calendar that aligns with marketing campaigns run through the Marketing Team.
- Analyse the existing and future advertising campaigns so that they are enhancing brand visibility and engagement.
- Set clear and measurable goals for campaigns.
- Regularly assess the company's marketing, social media strategy, and fundraising campaigns delivering reports to the management and executive teams.
- Stay up to date with the latest digital advertising trends, how new donors are acquired and marketing techniques using SEO monitoring.
- Monitor and respond promptly to customer feedback, comments, and social media posts, fostering a positive and engaging online community around our brand.
- Regularly monitor and analyse competitor fundraising marketing, web, event, and social media strategies, identifying opportunities for differentiation and innovation.
- Creative marketing and fundraising professional with a strong track record of meeting targets.
- Developing effective and integrated marketing, communications, and fundraising strategies, ideally focused on Campaigns / Community / Individual Giving / Membership schemes and/or Events and social media campaigns.
- Management oversight and development. Experience of Web, social media and digital marketing and campaigns including developing content yourself, monitoring and updating.
- Ability to develop ideas for compelling TV programs and seek sponsorship and/or advertising space on our two tv channels for the program.
- Developing and implementing effective events and managing outcomes from each event.
To be successful you have:
- Experience in planning and developing fundraising campaigns online and offline.
- Experience in content creation for social media with web platforms.
- Produce reports.
- Be up to date with latest trends.
- Website development and digital media.
- Developed ideas for TV sponsorship and /or advertising space.
- Event organisation.
