Marketing Executive

Based in the heart of Manchester’s City Centre, ITS is an innovative and dynamic group of companies, entering a period of substantial investment and growth.  By employing a small, but highly talented, R & D, engineering, manufacturing and sales team, the company delivers specialised measurement technologies and related services to an international process industry and scientific customer base.

Reporting directly to the Managing Director, this newly created Marketing Executive position is a great opportunity to completely own the group’s marketing strategy and delivery by really showcasing your digital and traditional marketing expertise, social media skills, technical writing and creativity.

What will you do?

• Develop marketing collateral from concept to implementation
• Focus on end user awareness thus generating sales enquiries
• Adapt digital marketing and social media techniques to industrial and technical buyers on an international basis
• Produce literature, case studies, sales presentations and technical material
• Maintain and improve website content, increasing google rankings using SEO and other techniques
• Plan technical conference and exhibition support, customer demonstrations and user events
• Manage external agencies, including press relations, website modifications, printing and publishing
• Research target international markets for direct marketing campaigns
• Work with the sales team to maintain the CRM, arrange customer visits, support account management and liaise with international agents and distributors

What do you need?

• A degree in marketing or a business related subject
• An interest in international trade in industrial products
• Experience of B2B sales channels and routes to market
• Knowledge and experience of working with technical products
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written English
• Experience of managing external agencies and providers
• An aptitude for technical copywriting
• Strong work ethic and flexible mind set
• A methodical approach to projects with high levels of attention to detail
• Confident interpersonal skills
