Marketing Executive

My client is a highly reputable, regional business providing a range of services to their clients. They are an incredibly successful and established business that is always evolving and boasting an enviable reputation. They operate a supportive culture and they are expanding their team further and we therefore have an incredibly exciting opportunity for a Marketing Assistant to join them.

The Role
We are seeking a Marketing Assistant to work on a full time, 9 month basis to cover a maternity contract. The main office is based in Yeovil and ideally within a commutable distance for regular team meetings. Access to a vehicle will be a necessity.

The role attracts a salary of up to £27,000, dependent on experience.
The purpose of the role is to acts as a the frontline for the marketing team and to support in delivering the marketing strategy across the business and provision of all marketing activities (including digital marketing), advertising, events and projects, across all divisions of the business.

Main duties include;

• Assisting and coordinating a company wide communication plan
• Produce written communication to be used and distributed through digital and social channels
• Conduct SEO research, print media and research of keywords
• Research and suggest ideas for articles, company magazine and other ongoing projects
• Support the social media coordination in planning and providing weekly content including shows, auctions and other events
• Support the wider team as and when required

The Successful Candidate
The successful candidate must have;

• Excellent communication skills
• Experience with SEO and SEO tools
• Excellent attention to detail and proof reading experience
• A qualification in marketing, copywrite or PR
• Creative approach to work
• Ability to adapt content for different channels
• Previous experience in a similar role
• Access to a car
