Marketing Manager

We are currently seeking an experienced Marketing Manager to join a well-established, family-run SME based in Chesterfield. As Marketing Manager you will draw up a marketing strategy that is aligned with the overall strategic direction of the company. You will use your leadership skills to co-ordinate the team to deliver this plan, and your marketing skills to improve the overall performance of the business.

This role is ideally suited to an experienced Marketing Professional who enjoys both designing effective strategies whilst also still having a hands on approach!

Responsibilities

• Develop an effective marketing strategy and a plan to deliver it, in line with the companies strategic goals.
• Proactively analyse the effectiveness across all marketing channels and target industries.
• Co-ordinate marketing efforts with the marketing team, sales team and external agencies - taking full responsibility for managing external agency relationships and ROI/ROAS.
• Lead a review of the companies branding positioning, to ensure there is brand alignment and effective brand awareness across all of the company brands.
• Change the focus of marketing so it is attractive to all of the companies target industries.
• Ensure content is adjusted or created to reflect this broader approach.
• Hands-on marketing activities such as video creation, customer interviews and site visits.

Requirements

• Proven Marketing Manager experience in a B2B environment, across all marketing channels
• Relevant Marketing qualifications
• Leadership skills with the ability to set and prioritise goals.
• Strong people skills with the ability to coordinate a team.
• Analytical mind and ability to analyse data and present reports.
• A can-do attitude, with a solutions/improvements orientated mindset

Hours: 7.30-4.30 Mon to Fri (Early finish bi-weekly)
