Job Description
Following a recent move to fantastic new offices in LS1, we are now looking to add to our energetic and growing team with the appointment a creative and ambitious marketing & communications specialist.
The Position:
The appointed Marketing Manager will be tasked with optimising both our employer brand and recruitment-specific marketing, the latter being with candidates and clients in the global software, tech, life science, finance, legal, manufacturing, construction, and natural resources sectors. While we envisage this to be a full-time position, we’re equally open to hearing from applicants looking for a part time or freelance appointment, it all depends on how creative and productive you are!
We expect, however, that successful candidate will be primarily responsible for:
Managing and overseeing the company’s social media presence across multiple platforms to create a strong and consistent online identity.
Working with consultants and senior management on content creation – videos, articles, banners, questionnaires, polls, flyers, images, thought leadership, business development collateral etc.
Preparing employer branding campaigns and marketing collateral for local and regional careers events
Working with a set of existing brand guidelines and adding ideas to broaden online identity.
Managing, celebrating, and driving online recommendations and client/candidate testimonials
Ensuring brand continuity across individual consultants and divisions’ online branding (LinkedIn profiles, industry specialism etc)
Keeping up to speed on trends, insights and general local/global news and events that relate to the recruitment sector (plus the verticals we recruit in) and how we may engage with such content / commentators / influencers.
Celebrating the achievements of individuals and teams across all social/online channels
Documenting company social events, reward trips, sporting and/or charity events that the business may be involved in or supporting.
Monitoring and reporting on social media engagement measurables and competitor activity
Assisting consultants’ penetration of new verticals with market-specific content and collateral
The Candidate:
Applicants will be expected to demonstrate:
A minimum digital marketing (or related) degree qualification and/or proven experience in a business-to-business (Ideally recruitment, or related) marketing environment
Strong creative flair and a bold approach to defining and communicating what sets us apart as a business.
A thorough knowledge of social media marketing principles and strategies.
Outstanding writing, spelling, and grammatical abilities
Knowledge of the technical requirements of social platforms in relation to content compatibility (format, aspect, size, length, duration, etc)
Previous experience of working with LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, and Instagram
An open-minded approach to expanding the company’s reach to newer channels such as TikTok, Snapchat, etc.
Strong graphic design skills (Canva, PowerPoint, Adobe etc) and experience of video / multimedia content creation
An acquired eye for detail, design, and aesthetics
An understanding of SEO principles to optimize website traffic and ranking performance.
Strong project management skills and self-sufficiency to prioritize and plan workload.
Excellent communication and relationship building skills.
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools including PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
