We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Brand Manager to join our team. As a Brand Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective brand strategies to enhance the company's brand awareness and drive customer engagement. You will have evidence of working for a minimum of ten years in a senior role within a marketing function with responsibility for writing strategy and to lead a business as the brand advocate. A qualification in Marketing is desirable. Requirement to travel to various depots and events in the UK.
Responsibilities:
Overseeandmanage the marketing function ensuring that the marketing strategy is implemented and executed to meet the commercial goals of Savona. This includes
Hiring and managing the performance of a more junior marketing team that can also include PR and creative staff.
Being the guardian of the brand identity. Ensuring that the spirit and essence of the brand is maintained and is ruthlessly consistent across all media and communications. This will include:
Ensuring use of font, language, colours are adhered to across the company
Conveying Savona ethos and brand architecture to all employees
Ensuring customer facing employees ‘live’ the brand – e.g. the delivery drivers
Be responsible for brand ‘storytelling’ to ensure the brand remains vibrant, engaging, and relevant
Spend time with Savona prospects and customers in order to be able to understand the customers who Savona serve and, in so doing, ensure the communications ‘speaks’ to the customers
Contribute to identifying and creating strategic brand relationships with partners, in order to raise brand awareness, reach and the opportunity for more revenue
Event organisation and presence, including an annual exhibition
Overseeing PR & corporate communications
Any ‘brand advertising’, for example, in newspapers, magazines etc.
Utilising other ‘channels’ to raise brand salience, for example – brand merchandise, sponsorships and experiential ‘stunts’
Researching and analysing market trends and competitors.
Overseeing marketing campaigns.
Tracking effectiveness of marketing campaigns and reporting findings to the executive team.
Negotiating and liaising with third-party marketing agencies.
Monitoring the budget of the marketing department to ensure the budget spend is delivering a return on investment.
